It has been raining recently and I have no mood, but finally my friend asked me to come out for dinner. I punched in the net red restaurant Bonaparte&#39;s gentle French meal. My friend has been here before and has been recommending this restaurant to me. I finally came today. To be honest, the environment of the restaurant is very good. It is very tall and the plate is quite good. It is pleasing to the eye. As for the taste, I feel a bit overstated. I still feel that I was pitted by my friends. The price is quite expensive. It feels a bit of a loss.

We had dinner here the first night we arrived. Hadn&#39;t planned to have dinner here, but just walked in from the hotel lobby and thought it would be a good place for a welcome drink, then decided to stay and eat and were glad we did. The food was good, the drinks were good, the service was good.

What a treat to have this gem of a Restaurant as a part of Auberge du Vieux Port where we were staying. We had breakfast there each morning, eggs benedict, crepes with apples, cheddar and walnuts and french toast were all perfect. We also had dinner there 2 out of our 3 nights and could not have been happier with our meals, we had Oysters, lobster tails, and arctic char gravlax, all were wonderful. Drinks were great and the service could not have been better, both attentive and informative. Worth a trip, even if not staying at the hotel (although the Hotel is wonderful)

Breakfast at Taverne Gaspar was included in the price of our room at Auberge du Vieux Port. As hotel guests, we could select a variety of dishes that were marked on the regular breakfast menu. Most selections were about 15$ CAN. This also included juice or coffee. The first morning, I picked crepes filled with white cheese curds, topped with glazed walnuts, apple slices, and caramelized maple syrup. My husband tried their Eggs Benedict. On the following morning, I ordered a vanilla yogurt parfait, layered with muesli, berry jam, a fresh fruit garnish, and a seeded bagel. My favorite of all, was their banana filled crepes with chocolate syrup. My husband thought their French toast, with creme anglais, and berry jam was the best. The wait staff was friendly and efficient.

Our package with l&#39;Auberge Lofts included breakfast each morning at Gaspar. Had the Eggs Benedict every single morning we were there and they were perfect every time. We also stopped in for a late lunch one afternoon and had several small plates and some interesting draft beers as well. The menu can get a bit creative but we were always able to find something good to snack on. It is a very popular spot for al fresco dining in the summer.
